The Promoter Couple's primary duty is to effectively promote an upcoming NFP class through the various media outlets. The Promoter Couple is assigned a Teacher Couple by the local CCL Chapter.
The Promoter and Teacher couples can work together to determine the Teacher Couple's class schedule. From that point, the Promoter Couple is in charge of area-wide public relations which includes but is not limited to submitting PSAs to local radio stations and community newspapers, informing parish congregations via church bulletins, or giving witness talks to married and engaged couples. Depending on the situation, the Promoter Couple may be responsible for some Host Couple activities.
The Promoter Couple is a wonderful place to start your volunteer work. This position can entail the couple staying behind the scenes and only doing mailouts OR for the very outgoing, the couple can start an NFP ministry in their church, provide witness talks to various groups, and develop new ideas for class promotion --- Whatever you like!
